oily question: U20 oil pump in R16 (H20)

hi all
thanks in advance for all your help.
in the U20 booty i just purchased, i got a 7.5 qt pan and the U20 oil pump.  
i understand that both will work on my engine (H20).  i have these questions:
1.  what size bolts do i need to use the U20 oil pump?  are they merely 
longer?
2.    do i need to change anything else?
3.    should i apply anything between the gasket and the pan and/or the block?
