Phil,
I running Bridgestone Eager 195/65-14s on EMPI rims (~3.5" backspace) with
comp front springs and 1/2" lowering blocks in the rear. The tires only rub
in the front when entering a steep driveway with the wheels turned near
lock. My rear fenders are flared, however I suspect the clearance is more
critical inboard. I wouldn't buy these tires again though, they sqeal a lot
(raised the pressure to 35 psi yesterday to see if it's better) and the
shoulders are too square for a stock look.
