IT'S THE LITTLE VICTORIES....

Well since my 4-speed tranny bit the dust yesterday - it was time to check
out the one that came in the trunk of the car when I bought it 7 years ago -
and -

it appears the trans that was in the trunk is good! I can get it into all 4
gears AND reverse, so the pain is just a lost weekend and some gaskets 'n'
such - no rebuild necessary!

the shaft coming out is rusty, but since I think I'm gonna do the KA24 swap
next year...........
