I think there are a couple of "taverns" one is called Mattie's Tavern
which is fairly close to Solvang (Los Olivos). This is not so wild and
is easily found. It was taken over years ago by a group like the Chart
House. Solid food, but boring. Another is called Cold Springs Tavern
which is between Santa Barbara and Lake Cachuma. The resturant is
pretty nice if not upscale. The bar has a bit more action. It may
still be a meeting place for bikers, or "Malcolm Forbes" type bikers.
This is on a narrow road deep in the live oaks of SB (fun). The last
time I was there was for breakfast about a year ago with my friend and
his Ducati group. This location has much more flavor and would be a
choice outing day or night.
