I had a black 86 Peugeot 505 wagon once. I loved it, my wife hated
it. It would always start
fine for me, but every time my wife tried to start it, it wouldn't turn
over. The last three digits of
the VIN were 666. When I told my wife (she was raised Catholic), she never
got in that car again.
A few years later I bought a '60 Peugeot 403, black of course. When I
went to title it, guess
what the serial number was. 2403666 !
