A turbo costs a lot of money, esp for 50hp. To really get the benefit of
the turbo you would need a sophisticated engine management system like the
Haltech E-6 or Electromotive TecII. Then you could easily boost to 400hp.
But really, 250 is plenty. I have that in my turbo Miata and it is a
handful. If you want 50-75hp more, add NO2. It's cheap and safe if done
right.
BTW, if you go with side draft carbs, at least use Mikunis, not Webers! :)
