A beautiful day indeed. Ran [ugh - hate running but gotta do it] showered,
dressed, Java, then to the garage. Rolled back the cover and there she was
-- bright blue, all shiny and clean and just waiting for some fun.
I quietly push her out of the garage [everyone else in the house is asleep].
Take her top off [sexist thing to do, I know]; put the tonnoue cover on
the passenger side. Hop in and turn her on -- Yeehaa
Roll quietly through the neighborhood then onto 4th street. First car I see
is a white vette with a blonde [no I wasnt dreaming, AKA American
Graffiti]. So I goose her a little just to make sure I was noticed [no, not
the blonde]. My luck, the gal in the vette didnt want to play -- alas she
turned into a bagel shop.
Soo off I head to the Gandy Bridge and on to work. Now for those that are
familiar with the bridges across our bay [Tampa that is] its the
opportunity to open her up a bit. Say up into the 80+ range. Shes purring
like a kitten getting her head scratched. The view is great with the sun
just breaking over the horizon and the wind in my hair.
All to quickly Im at the gates to MacDill but its Friday and Im sure I can
come up with a reason to leave early and Enjoy the Ride some more.
