A few years back I sold my 1965 190D 4 speed sedan for $550, but it had
well over 300,000 miles on it and it was getting tired. Unless you find a
real Mercedes nut, the older diesel sedans aren't worth much. Buy it cheap,
toss the diesel and replace it with a 350 V8. That's what happened to the
one I sold.
Mandatory roadster content; That $550 was $300 profit that went into my
1600!
