Silence is golden (about $800 worth). The new timing gears/chain is
installed and all I can say is that you don't know how much diff a new setup
can have until you do it.
On another note, I think there's something screwy about my heater hose
routing. It leaves the water pump, through the intake manifold, to the
heater, then back to a 'T' fitting between water pump and intake manifold.
This creates a loop with no way back into the engine. Is this a PO job from
30 years ago? This can't be right.
