I plan to put my new header on my old 1966 1600 tomorrow, and of course have
lost the fat washers which I understand are not easily found without a trip to
a Z junkyard.
Does anyone see why a proper sized hardened nut drilled out in the center would
not work?
And if so, could someone with an extra washer tell me how thick the washers
are, and the outer diameter and hole diameter.
And finally, do they go at the top or the bottom of the manifold, or on all the
manifold studs?
