Interesting. I'm sure it's real safe if you're involved in an accident :)
It would be safe to say that if those tanks ruptured it would be like having
a rocket engine strapped on the car. That's why you never take long trips
with a fully loaded scuba tank in your trunk. Most municipalities require
business who refill scuba tanks to build a water filled "bomb" bunker. I
have seen photos of what can happen when a scuba tank explodes and it's not
pretty.
