No need to justify the need for more power! =) I got a ride in a buddy's
Jag convertible/Chevy 383 Stroker conversion a while back and had a BLAST in
it. It was scary. Although I'd hate to see what all that torque has done to the
unibody by now...between that car and all the 240Z conversions I'd seen was
part of the reason I wanted to do the 215 conversion in my '66. Just pure fun.
Plus what you said about the parts availability and cost for Chevy 350 parts
is spot on. It always amazes me how cheap they are.
Have fun in your new car...after the brakes are fixed.
