Looks like it will be quite the adventure.... I'm really excited for ya. 
(Makes me hate my crappy apartment even more.)

One word of advice.. get a special box and DILIGENTLY keep track of all the 
receipts and such for improvements & repairs on "this old house".  It sounds 
silly, and most folks give up after a while, but years down the road when you 
go to sell it, it can be very helpful at tax-time.
