The other list is not down - I am getting posts.  But, while I am here, let 
me pitch the Turkey Rod Run again!

This is a great show for gear heads.  Want to buy a 2 bigblock dragster - 
there was one for sale the last time I was there.  Want to see a Gogomobile 
roadster - one there too - the prototype.  Scour the swap meet area for 
parts (I found a U-20 solex induction setup there one year - $50 - not a 
typo!! I bought it of course)

The best day to attend is Saturday imho.  The vendors will be there in force 
and you can haggle some good deals.  I plan to go that day.  My suggestion 
is that if you plan to go, plan to be there at 7:30.  The gates may open at 
8, but if you wait that late, you will spend an hour parking.  Been there, 
done that.
