I must admit I miss the original seats, and will probably go back. The Miata
seats in mine are comfy, and were there when I got it, but my latest find
has a pair of originals that I will probably swap over in the spring

I kinda like the Roadster seats.
there you go. I for one do not understand the infatuation with putting
the "wrong" seats in a roadster. Most of them are too wide or too high.
I believe it was Andy Cost that said he was looking at the top of the
windsheild frame while sitting in his CRX seats.
Why ruin the car and the whole feel of having a sports car, slung low
down by the floor boards.
I like the feel of a late model seat.
here are some of the advantages;
1) they fit
2) vendors have reasonably priced upholstery kits
3) you can change the seat angle
4) they fit
5) you can have a shop upholster them any way you want.( more padding,
less padding, vinyl, leather, cloth, etc)
6) they look cool
7) they fit
8) they are esy and cheap to find (judging from all the folks
installing other seat brands)
9) they fit
10) you preserve the integrity of the car
having said that, a note on comfort;
my girlfriend has a 2000 saturn, we drove to Vegas (4hr drive)
I was more tired and sore than in my trips in my spl with stock seats
to Arizona (7hr drive)
I may sound like a jerk, but you can see I'm not a fan of these
"transplant seats"
If I can get one person to change their mind about a mazda or toyota
seat and get a seat cover kit from a vendor, I'll be happy
I'm done now,
Roman
