I've had the front wheel bearings since May so want to get that done,
thus the question. I'm also trying to figure out what my
newly-devleped symptom is. It's a pretty vague description, but here
goes.
There is a pulsating vibration (on,off,on,off) that almost sounds and
feels like something loose vibrating (like the grill or something) but
I haven't found what causes it yet. Seems to happen most in second or
third gear, not really at freeway speeds. It's loud enough that I can
definitely hear it. I can feel it in the gearshift knob, too. Also it
seems to be much stronger when NOT accelerating, either maintaining
speed or letting my foot off the gas. May not be present when the
clutch is depressed (need to check that for sure).
Is that of any use at all? What are the likely suspects?
