I haven't seen a 320 van, but I saw a 1960 VPL-221. It was a pickup
converted to a van, with sliding windows in the back and a tailgate
that half went down and half went up (like a camper shell would). It
had a really neat folding back seat. The tailights were vertical.
I say it was converted because even though it has an official model
sheet (see http://www.datsuns.com/images/vpl221.gif), the V was stamped
into the VIN separately and it had another plate identifying the
company that did the conversion.
