Not sure on the switch. That is a later part number.
If you lived closer I could have you stop by and "try
it" on one of my 5 speeds (don't ask, but I seem to
have four of them around here). Install it FINGER
tight, and see if the reverse light works. I'll lay
odds it will (use a meter to check the switch, as
I have made the mistake of thinking I have had a
bad switch... to discover corroded light sockets once
too often.
Angle gear is commonly used with the four speed. There is
enough room to install a speedometer cable directly to
the 5 speed. I've used the angle drive to make for a
cleaner installation of the cable (up along the 5 spd
transmission), but not required.
