I'm not sure that the 1600 parts are much less costly that the 2000. Other
than the head and timing components, the cars are very comparable. Looked
for a 1600 water pump lately? Clutch, carbs, most all chassis parts, etc are
the same. And the dome top 1600 pistons are outrageous.Can't get em from the
forklift guys. Tranny parts should be comparable as they share many of the
same parts. Now if its a Red 2000 vs. another color 1600 thats a different
story...Flame away.
