If you installed a 5 speed in you 67.5, to replace a 4 speed,
you soon notice how much shorter the 5 speed is!
Stan Chernoff makes up a nice aluminum plate that duplicates
the opening of the 5 speed. I got one from Stan, drilled the
little holes, finished it up, and painted it. Looked fine in
my '67 2000 and kept the HOT AIR from blowing up through that
opening.
