Hello All,
I have been in touch with the Z club of San Diego and once again we are
planning to co-host a run up to the Mt. Palomar Observatory in Eastern San
Diego County on September 16th, 2001.
As before, we are planning to meet at Classic Datsun Motorsports. For more
information, go to the SoCalROC website at WWW.SOCALROC.COM. Plan to meet at
10:30 AM and head out on the run at 11:00 AM.
This year we are going to do things a little differently than last year.
Rather than stop at the Pala Mission, we are going to head straight up to
the observatory. There are picnic grounds there and bathroom facilities. I
am asking that everyone bring things for pot luck. I will be bringing
plates, utensils, napkins, and any other support items. This Saturday, I am
planning to drive up to the observatory to check things out and scope out a
good place for us to have the picnic. It should be a great time.
As before, any Datsun/Nissan Z car, roadster, 510, truck, car or any other
vehicle with a Datsun logo is welcome. Last year we had a great turnout and
I am looking forward to an even better turnout this year. So bring your car,
sense of adventure and some food to the 2nd annual All Datsun Mt. Palomar
run. I can promise a good time will be had by all.
