Any and all shots across the bow at Miata owners which originate from my
quarterdeck are to be taken in fun. My Roadster went into a
lack-of-smog-equipment-induced hibernation just about the time the Miata came
out. Marriage, a home purchase (in Silicon Valley - yikes!) and babies have
conspired to keep her there, so far. I freely admit to being a bit jealous of
all the Miatas I see out there (but as I told datsunmike - not MGs and Alfas -
I won't go that far... ). Doesn't help, either, that you can't swing a dead cat
around here without hitting a Z3 or a Boxster (though I think that a few of
those dot-com types are living in their Porsches in the parking lot outside the
local Starbucks... ).

P.S. - I have run into a few MiataNazis, though, just like Sid down in Florida.
A fellow my wife worked with belonged to THREE different Miata clubs!
