My solution to towing was as follows:

I used my chassis as the rolling chassis.
I found a neighbor with a tow truck, he didn't speak much English, but was more
than happy to help out. From my house to the body shop was about 6 miles. He
charged me $25 each way, so....

Chassis+Body to Shop $25
Chassis Home $25
Chassis back to Shop $25
Chassis+Body Home $25

I'm out $100 and didn't have to mess with anything you are looking at right
now. Well worth it.

All,

I am taking the body off of the frame this weekend. Les Cannaday has offered
me the use of a rolling frame so I can put the body on it and take it to the
body shop.

I have access to my Dad's 97 Chevy S-10. It's a V-6 with plenty of power to
pull an empty body shell sitting on a rolling frame.

So today I call U-Haul and inquire about renting a ball hitch and tow dolly.
U-Haul won't rent me the hitch. Says they will be happy to sell me one for
120.00 and if I want it installed they will give me a "package deal" for
150.00

They also are reticent to rent me the tow dolly as they like to have those
around for one-way moves with reservations.

Am I missing something here? I can't be the only person wanting to rent a
ball hitch and a tow dolly. I guess I am going to have to go and buy one and
install it and hope there is a tow dolly that they will let me have.

Sheesh.
