Not sure about the side trim but for the emblems I use small pieces of
flexable 3/8" PVC or polyurethane tubing (the polyurethane will stay
flexable longer). I cut the tubing into 1/2" sections, cut the sections in
half lengthwise and drill a small hole in the center of each piece. I just
slide the pieces over the prongs on the emblems with the U facing the
emblem. Have used this for many years and have never had one come off or
even loosen. The advantage is that when you need to remove the emblem the
tubing comes right off and you do not break the prongs.
