Leaf springs

List,
    Has anyone found a good replacement for the cloth that seems to be
inserted in between the spring leafs on the original suspension set up? I'm
cleaning up my suspension and I'd hate to put cloth(?) back in. Something that
slides better and does not gather moisture? Any thoughts and experiences?
