Hi List,

I was the one with the stolen roadster (1966 1600). Well it has been 4+
weeks now and no sight or sound have been heard of the car. The insurance
company is finally going to settle up with me so....... I am now looking
for a car. I am going to Shasta to look around and was wondering what
people know about out there that is for sale. What I am after is a 1966
1600 possibly a 1967.5 1600. I have considered a 2L but I just put too
many miles on my roadster (30000 a year) and a 1600 is a little better
for those kind of miles being put on its motor. For any car I would
prefer little to no rust and a strait car. Running is not such a big
deal, would be nice though. I am located in Portland, OR but for the
right car I will travel to get it. No price range at this point ( I
haven't heard from the insurance yet)

Thanks for all support and help,
Eric

A peice of advice for all you owners out there. My experience with the
insurance company has been reasonably good so far. But to get any value
out of my car I have had to turn in all reciepts for any work done/new
parts I put on to the
car. Okay that may not sound bad but unless you keep really good records
it is a major pain. I managed to come up with most of the reciepts for
work
I have done or had done for th the last 3-4 years, well all I can say I
could have gotten a new car alomst 1/2 to 3/4 paid off ( I had no
idea :-) But with out
these receits the insurance company would only appraise my cars value on
what every pictures I could get to them. So keep track of your
receipts. Start a file for each roadster you have and put eveything in
there becuase it adds up really fast!!! And the lady insurance agent mouth
just about hit her desk when I handed her a huge file of all the receits
and showed her the totals, she had no idea.

I also heard that there was a right hand drive 1966 1600 baby blue at
Shasta a few years ago, that was for sale but a little high in price
does anyone know about this car?
