Years ago Car And Driver tested one and reported getting 2nd-gear wheelies.
Needless to say, they were impressed!

The 911R is one of the most rare of them all
bu they made 24 of them in 1967. Price today
from US$200.000 and up. It looks similar to
the 1973 RS with plastic front & rear bumpers.
The details that will tell it's a 911R are the small
front turn signal lights and the oil filler cap on
the right side behind the door. Engine was a
2000 cc with 210 hp/8000 rpm. Twin spark plugs,
magnesium crankcase and titanium con-rods.
Weight is 830 kg or 1832 lbs as they used lightweight
material everwhere. For those who are looking at
some special edition 911's there's very good
documentation at the factory on VIN numbers for
these special editions. Some other manufacturers
did not bother about that.
