That is a 1500 valve cover. The single carb models had the chrome valve
cover while the dual carbs had the alloy. The 1500 alloy cover is different
from the early 1600 in that the 1600 had a spot cast into it for future
drilling for the vent fitting. The 1500s did not have that.
