Sometimes condensors can get thermal shorts also. Try a new condensor, check you point gap, and then try swapping coils for known good one. Before you start, First, once car quits verify there is no spark, and thats why it quit, by cranking and holding the coil wire short distance to a ground. Good Luck! Jim Chesapeake Va |
