I was taking my nephew to Great America this morning and on my way spotted a
66 or 67 1600 in a Tow Yard. Took down the name of the place and Called
them later in the day. The car was missing lots of stuff. It was basically
a body and shell. I asked the owner of the tow yard what he wanted for it.
He had no clue about roadsters, proceeded to tell me it was a complete car
and then quoted me a ridiculous price. He is obviously out trying to make a
lot of bucks on this car. Anyway, I am going to wait and call him again in
a couple of weeks and see if he is more reasonable. If he comes down to a
fair price I will let any of you know that are interested in the car and
take some pics and post them on the net. The body looked pretty clean, but
in need of bodywork anyway. At least I spotted a roadster today, kinda made
the day fun when I saw that old car.
