Together with Mercedes, we call it Teutonic over engineering.
FWIW, my neighbor who owns a shop which specializes in fixing those cars
tells me that neither brand is as realiable as they let on. The big Bimmers
have lots of electrical problems and I heard that from several folks.
Mercedes are barely better.
