Gary, I'd say Les is right, if you're going to the trouble of pulling the crank, you might as well rebuild vs. having to do it all over again when you're rings stop sealing right later. Kinda false economy. As for the mains, it could be your oil galleries, improper oil pressure or the pickup is clogged. When you rebuild make sure to get an align bore to make sure that's not the cause. How many miles since your last rebuild? Stan Wada |
