Mike,

I guess I've been very lucky but I never had a problem. I'm sure the
original waterpump on the H20 block I have would fit the 1600. I used the
pulley from that motor on my 1600 waterpump and it fits. I also compared it
to the other waterpumps I have and it's the exact same thing and the casting
is just as bad :).

The OEM pumps have the best castings and I intend to rebuild them with some
kits that I bought many moons ago.
