If the car is in decent shape, then 3500.00 for a solex powered car seems
like a good deal. Check the normal places for rust- rockers, door posts,
fenders, trunk.
Congrats on the new addition to your family!
I am curious as to why the guy is interested in a 1965 model specifically.
That year is the first model year for the 1600 and the last model year for
the 1500. I wonder if he is after the two seater 1500? Pretty rare car.
Anyhow, keep us informed about the car!
