Never wanting to assume any Roadster solution could be simple, is there
anything to be concerned about regarding the bolt that goes through the
door hinge arms connecting the actual door to the body? Mine decided to
implode today and I managed to fudge a temporary solution. It looks like
just a simple bolt, but I didn't know if there should be some type of
plastic/rubber/poly sleve that goes in there to prevent wear. Thanks in
advance.
P.S. I hope I'm not entering the "fix one thing and then break another"
phase so common to the joys of car ownership. I finally gained enough
confidence to drive the alternator converted Roadster to work in sunny 90
degree weather and now this happens (sigh.............).
