In my defense, this whole thing about the Restoration Database has gotten blown
way out of proportion.
I now see that I am being lambasted for offering a FREE database to everyone on
the list who might be able to use it.
When I sent out the original email announcing the availability of the database,
I stated in that email that MS Access 97 or newer was required to run the
database. Furthermore, on the webpage from which the database can be
downloaded, it is again stated that MS Access 97 or newer is required to run
the database.
I appologize to all of you out there that do not have MS Access as it is not a
widely used program for the average home PC user. I also appologize to all of
the MAC users out there as I do not know if that program is even offered for
the MAC
Despite the derogatory comments that have been thrown my way, I am still
dedicated to trying to make this database a stand-alone application that
everyone (at least PC users) will be able to use.
I am still, as always, available to help those who are using, or attempting to
use the database. Additionally, I am also still willing to help anyone with
any other problems that I may have a solution for.
