Good afternoon all; This weekend I installed the distributor into a recently purchased rebuilt engine for the 68 2000. I had to remove both hold down screws to be able to turn the distributor enough to get it to fire. So someplace something is misaligned. Is the timing chain off a tooth or two?? What the heck do I have to do to fix the problem. Please keep it simple because I have no idea what the heck I'm doing. Bob Morrow (wondering what I got myself into in Buffalo) |
