Remember that there is already a gap between the ground and the frame, 
before driving a car's tires up on the wood. And his car may already be 
higher than mine.

3 - 2'x6's.  that is actually 1 3/4" thick for each.  That means you are 
actually lifting your car 5 1/4".  You can get under the car and change your 
oil ?
