On race carbs the float level is set almost to the top of the nozzle , this gives much better throttle responce also the throttle shafts are milled down so give more throttle area.. and them there can be some hand maching of the body.. that is if the rules allow such modifacations. if other feuls are used then some mods on the float chamber may be done ...
