If you just want it to run right then taking it to a specialist is the best
bet. Save the frustration, trial and error, time, and sanity. If you're
already crazy, dumb, or too cheap to pay $60/hour to someone else, look
around for some local places that may let you "borrow" jets and such with an
appropriate deposit. A lot of cities have Z car places that keep solex
stuff around. There are two here in Tampa.

Unfortunately my Z was totaled by a rearend collision after a full
restoration. After that incident I never became too emotional about any car
as they can easily be destroyed or stolen and all cars to me are just cars
although I do enjoy them. In the blink of an eye your prized possession can
be destroyed. Oh well.
