(Sorry about the email switch here--fcmail has been down too much for
me recently so I've given up on them!)
It was nice meeting some of you at the show Sunday! Nice to see the
cars up close for the first time and meet such friendly folks too! I
wasn't able to make it back for the ride due to an appointment to see
a 1600.
...I'm just not sure what to think about that car either. The paint's
bad, the interior isn't too hot, there's rust along the wheel well in
the back and...well, I think some in the trunk has gone all the way through
near the drain holes. But it ran very nice and there didn't seem to
be any major issues there. It really isn't a candidate for fixing up,
it's more of a 'get it and drive it' sort. The question I have is...how
big of a problem is the rust? What sort of price is typical for a car
with similar 'issues'? I took some pictures...just waiting for the download--so
if you'd like to see and provide me with some pros and cons. ;> Just
let me know.
