So does this POR 15 stuff really stop the rust for good? Have people used it
on rusty body panels as well? It seems that it's usually pretty close to
impossible to stop rust completely one's it's taken hold in things like
quarter panels unless you completely remove it either by stripping, removing
the affected metal or what have you. I'm about to be dealing with poor rust
repair in the quarter panels of my car. Sometimes I think some people get a
little too carried away with fiberglass. One of my floor panels was rusted,
instead of replacing the panel, the guy just put a thick nasty coat of
fiberglass in the foot boxes. Oh well... I guess I just have to do it one
bit at a time and eventually it will be right.
