In Grassroots there was an article re: drilled/slotted rotors. They said it
is a waste of $$$$ and from what I gather from other sources the drilled
rotors, except the $$$$ ones, are, for the most part junk - Radial stress
cracks and broken rotors. Slotted is better but doesn't improve braking. As
stated in the article "gassing" is no longer a problem with the pads made
today.
Ventilated rotors are better.
