Hey, guys and gals;
I just got a note from an owner in Omaha, copied below, with my reply.
If some of you could make sure he gets subscribed and send a welcome note I
would appreciate it!

Hi Russel I was just browsing some datsun web pages and came across your name
on a list of owners. My name is Ted, I live in Omaha, NE and you were the
closest listed owner. I have a 1967 1600, I have had it for a number of years
but just recently ( 2 days ago) starting doing some research. I had no idea
of all the clubs and love for these cars there were, I've always enjoyed mine
despite all of the little problems I have with it, and from reading I don't
sound like the only one. Well let me know more about your car, I have yet to
check my Vin but am planning on doing so. Ted
Hey, Ted;
Good to hear from you! I also have a 67 1600, as does Gary Gerding
who lives in Omaha.
I think the support and parts availability for these cars is better
now than it was when they were new! The first thing you need to do is to
sign up on the roadster list
(datsun-roadsters@autox.team.net). If I remember right, you send a e-mail
to majordomo@autox.team.net with the subject subscribe datsun-roadsters. I
would send you the whole subscription file, but I seem to have misplaced it.
There is a great network of friendly enthusiests out there, mostly in
California, but as close as your computer. Welcome to the family!
I look forward to hearing from you again:
Russ
