All,
I don't really buy into the "us vs. the Z and 510" thing. I like all Datsuns
and enjoy seeing them at the shows.
However, there are a TON of books I can find about the Z. Let's face it, the
Z was probably one of the most popular production sports car of the 70s. It
rightly has a lot of information available in print.
I can't think of a single available resource in print dedicated to the
roadster. I think we are all just excited about a book dedicated to our
cars. I will probably get two.

Hi All.
Regarding bulk/club orders:
Phillip Hall (Phillip.Hall@msfc.nasa.gov) has proposed handling a bulk order
for SEROC
Michael Carion has proposed handling a bulk order for BADROC
Andrew Murphy (solex67@hotmail.com) and the guys at Classic Datsun
Motorsport
are each proposing to handle a bulk order for SoCalROC. Andrew and
Les/Dennis,
you should probably talk to each other re this.
Stan Chernoff is also interested in handling some distribution. BTW, Stan
has
just received a copy but has not yet had time to read it.
Regarding Z cars, it seems my comment about no Z car pix sparked some
discussion amongst some listers. I'll put on the record that I also love 240
and 260Zs and the last 300ZX. I owned a 260Z for several years until some
stupid young woman driving under the affluence of incohol decided not to
give
way to me one night.
Mine was a 2+2 and was a great long distance touring car and was ideal for
carting parts of my roadster around whill it was undergoing restoration.
I've often thought of buying another Z but I can't justify it, I don't have
the space and I love my roadster too much.
Regards,
Phill Brook
