Victor,
Thanks for the wonderful tip. Isn't it amazing how a little step can save
so much grief later on? This also applies to other bolts and nuts. For
instance, loosening the camshaft retaining nuts, and cylinder head bolts
before yanking the engine. It's easier than fighting the engine stand later
on. Sort of like loosening the wheels' lug nuts before jacking up the car.
I'm getting set to tear down a couple engines and I wish they were still on the
car.
