Uh Charlie, it's clear you do not know much about this list. Unlike the Z list,
this is not a moderated list and no one edits posts or blocks posts from anyone
subscribed to the list.
As for slandering; aside from the fact that slander relates to what someone says
*verbally* and not what they write (your legal posturing would be more effective
if you had a clue what you were talking about), every single thing I have
asserted here is fact and easily proven. You ordered magazines back in Dec.
'99.
I shipped them out back in July. You took delivery. I spoke with you
immediately
after shipping them and again, after delivery and you assured me the order was
okay, that you did want them, and that you would pay. You never paid. You owe
me
over $600. Also provable are the contents of any and all calls made to my home
phone. And if you want to threaten me physically, as your last call implied,
well, that *would* be a mistake.
Roadsterites, I apologize for this situation. I promise I will not post any
more to the list on this thread. But I would like to ask someone to act as a
witness to any further off-list email between Charlie and I. It would be best if
the party was not someone who could be called a close friend, so neither Les nor
Dennis will do. It would also be good if the party is on the West Coast and has
no bad history with Charlie (this would for example leave Calspeed out). I would
like to be able to cc the party with copies of all email going back and forth
between Charlie and I so that there is a separate and independent record. The
party will not need to interact with either Charlie or I or reply to the emails.
I'd also like to play you the recordings of Charlie's phone messages. Word of
warning though, it is entirely possible that Charlie will start harassing you
via email and phone, as he has been doing with me (we've gotten several long,
very abusive phone calls from Charlie tonight) and the list tonight, so a thick
skin would be best. The party could not afford to be drawn into an argument
with
Charlie, or their value as an objective witness would be undermined. Okay,
anyone
foolish enough to take on that most appealing offer:-) ?
