Hey ye smart ones
My new neighbor took me for a ride in his '66 Jag E-type. Nice car, but
back-fires through the carburetors if he hits the accelerator to fast. This
happens at all temps/speeds. If he eases into it, it runs fine. Any ideas?
It has the original 3 SU's and the motor has about 3000 miles on a rebuild.
The car runs good up to the 5000 redline. Sure is different then a Roadster
- not a tossable car. I would consider it a highway Roadster. It would be
fun to take to the beach.
Happy Roadstering
