Probably because no one has a good answer for you :-)
Properly setting up a rear end is more art than science, and I
doubt many of the list members have a good 'shade tree' way to
determine the proper shimming to prevent destroying your gears.
Now Ron can tell you how to rip a ring gear in two, and Alan can help
if you have an ant infestation :-). Gordon has done rear ends and may
be helpful, but again it's as much a 'laying on of hands' to get it right
so maybe if you'll fund him flying over to help you out... :-) :-)
