All,

When I thanked everyone for the advice, I forgot to inform you all of a 
potentially valuable resource that a friend gave me. There is a book named 
"Exit Authority" that lists each and every highway exit in the US, and gives 
an inventory of the businesses found at each exit, service stations, 
restuarants, hotels, etc.. The book is updated yearly to keep it current.
